Being the UK school holidays some of my sources of juicy edu tidbits have gone into hibernation. We're a short but sweet TOT this week.

T1 is a thought provoking article and podcast on the limitations of books as a learning resource.

T2 introduces an interesting concept, the ‘knowledge threshold' for reading comprehension!

T3 is a great chat with Dan Pink. I was particularly interested to hear how his thoughts on motivation have changed since he wrote ‘Drive'.

T4 on attention, worth your attention.

T5 a misconception addressing strategy I hadn't come across before.

T6 some good apps for teaching maths.

Enjoy : )
