I watched a cool documentary last night. It's called American Teacher.
Was a nice overview of many of the challenges that teachers in the US (the challenges are global though!) face and a discussion of the importance of education. Also included some suggested policy changes at the school and national level to promote more talented young people pursuing careers in teaching. Also addresses the incredibly high rate of teacher burnout and explores why.
The docco is a really nice validation for anyone in the profession.
