Jonathan is a Professorial Research Fellow at the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF), seconded from University College London.  Jonathan works with schools and policy makers across the sector to develop evidence-informed practice. 

Jonathan previously worked at The Institute for the Future of the Mind at the University of Oxford, where he was looking at how insights from brain-science research can support teacher’s professional development. Prior to this he worked as a secondary school science teacher in Sydney.  

Jonathan writes fantastic evidence-based and practical guidance for schools and is the lead author of EEF’s School’s Guide to Implementation.
